Looking for a patient, encouraging, and dependable Coach/Support Worker to assist an individual in building skills, confidence, and independence at home and in the community. This role blends gentle guidance, practical support, and person‑centered coaching to help someone live a life that reflects their goals, preferences, and strengths.
What You’ll Do
- Provide one‑on‑one support with daily routines and life skills
- Coach the individual in communication, self‑advocacy, and problem‑solving
- Support community outings and participation
- Assist with organization, planning, and follow‑through on personal goals
- Offer calm, respectful emotional support during challenging moments
- Encourage independence while ensuring safety and comfort
- Encourage to use the YMCA pass
