We’re seeking a caring, dependable individual to provide respite care for an adult who loves music, books, sensory activities, and predictable routines. This role is all about creating connections, supporting daily rhythms, and bringing joy.
SCHEDULE
• Evening support: once a month
• Overnight support: every six months
PAY
• $16.32 per hour
SUMMARY
Join a supportive, upbeat care environment where respect, trust, and consistency are essential. You’ll help maintain comfort, independence, and a positive daily routine, while participating in enjoyable activities like walks, reading, music, and sensory play. Training for personal care and feeding assistance is provided.
TASKS
• Assist with dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support feeding needs
• Aid with non-verbal communication
• Provide companionship through music, reading, sensory activities, and walks
• Help maintain a comfortable, predictable, and engaging daily routine
IDEAL CANDIDATE
• 18+ years old
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to pass a background check
• Friendly, outgoing, and eager to provide care
• Caregiving experience is a plus but not required
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
