Exceptional Care Support Staff-Marathon, WI
Member is seeking an Exceptional Care Support Staff to provide high-quality, member centered care, household task assistance and companionship in his home.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in caregiving and experience working with diverse populations, including those with physical disabilities, and dementia.
This role requires a commitment to member-centered care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of the member while promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Member enjoys socializing, going out for fish, watching football and being outdoors when weather permits.

Duties:
- Administer medications and monitor for changes in condition in member
- Assist member with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Assist member with daily range of motion exercises
- Support member with mobility needs, utilizing equipment such as a Hoyer lift when necessary
- Engage in cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and hygienic home environment for member
- Provide companionship emotional support and social opportunities to enhance the quality of life for member
- Collaborate with other caregivers to ensure comprehensive delivery of care
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred in either home care or a facility
- Experience working with physical disabilities and dementia is a plus
- Strong skills in observation and monitoring, with the ability to recognize changes in condition promptly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting/ pushing/ pulling as needed while assisting member with care and transfers
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively care for member
- A compassionate approach to caregiving, demonstrating patience and empathy and respect for the member
Schedule: 1-2 weekends per month dayshift 11:00am-3:00pm
