We’re hiring a Weekend Companion & Activity Support Person to provide friendly companionship and light support to a kind, active individual who enjoys being out in the community.
This is a direct hire position—you’ll be working directly with the individual and their family, not through an agency. That means more personal connection, greater flexibility, and a supportive environment where your time is truly valued.
Perfect for students, retirees, caregivers, or anyone looking for meaningful part-time weekend hours.
Schedule
- Weekends: Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
- Up to 9 hours per weekend
- We’re flexible! Work with the family to create a schedule that works for both of you. Only have a few hours one day available? Let’s talk!
Pay
- $15.00/hour
- $.35/mile reimbursement for outings
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing transportation to and from community activities
- Offering supervision and companionship in community settings
- Assisting with prescribed medications
- Offering gentle reminders for personal care
- Preparing and supporting meals according to dietary needs
You Might Be the Perfect Fit If:
- You’re active and love being on the go
- You’re not easily intimidated
- Knowledge of seizures is a plus or willing to learn
- You’re familiar with Autism
- You have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
- You’re comfortable around pets and have no allergies
- You have a friendly nature and enjoy being around others
