Casual Caregiver Needed
Community Horizons seeks caregivers to cover for a member’s live-in caregiver during vacations. Flexible hours available—perfect to fit your schedule. Interested? Apply, and we’ll call to discuss details.
Pay:
- $15.96/hr for vacation coverage
- $75/night for overnight shifts (up to 10 hrs)
- $10.94/hr for regular shifts when not on vacation
Hours:
- No guaranteed hours, but flexible scheduling during vacations
- 24/7 home coverage; work hours that suit you
- Currently employed? Not an issue—pick up hours that work for you
- Paid training hours provided
- Advance notice given before vacations
- Overnight shifts may be required
Responsibilities:
- Assist with toileting and bathroom needs
- Help with bed transfers, provide standby support
- Catheter care (emptying bag)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
Ideal Candidate:
- Dependable, responsible, dedicated
- Passionate about helping others
- Pet-friendly (dog)
- Accepts occasional smoking in the home
- Favorable background check
