Afternoon Cleaner & Personal Care Worker

Community Horizons is assisting a gentleman in recruiting a care provider who can be dependable to assist with general cleaning, laundry, and personal care tasks.

Afternoon Hours: 

·         3 days per week for 2 hours per day (Either Mon., Wed. & Fri. or Tues., Thursday & Sat.)

·         Afternoons (after 3:00 pm)

·         6 total hours per week

·         A consistent schedule is required

Wage: $16.46 per hour

Member Instructed Tasks Include but are not limited to the following:

·         Personal Care to Feet & Legs: (cream and wraps to feet/legs)

·         Socks to Feet

·         Laundry

·         General Cleaning (bathroom & living space)

·         Hair washing 1x per week

·         Take out the Trash

·         Grocery pick up and general errand may be requested in the future

Ideal Candidate is Someone Who: 

·         Reliable transportation

·         Is Honest & Dependable

·         Likes to plan ahead and set goals for the next visit

·         Communicates effectively and is willing to speak up if they have a question or concern but also willing to listen to the member's wants/needs and desires.

·         Takes instructions well and follows through as the member desires

·         Enjoys cleaning/organizing the bathroom and living space

·         Is comfortable with care for feet and legs

·         Is Cat Friendly

·         Has a Favorable Background Check
