Private residence – must be okay with stairs and sharing space with a friendly, well-behaved dog
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a warm, reliable individual to provide part-time support to an older adult living independently. You’ll help with light daily tasks in a peaceful, welcoming home — making a big difference in a small window of time. This is not a fast-paced environment. It's a perfect fit for someone who values routine, companionship, and thoughtful care.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist with light housework (laundry, dishes, vacuuming)
- Prepare simple meals or snacks
- Provide mobility support and help with showering
- Handle basic tasks like sorting mail or organizing small items
- Run brief local errands if needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Age 18+
- Able to pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license required
- Comfortable going up and down stairs
- Pet-friendly — especially with dogs
- Experience in caregiving or support roles is a plus, but not required
